Hebrew placement requirement

If you are a student who has never spoken with our Hebrew Language Coordinator, Prof. Friedman, you have to be placed by him in a class that fits your current Hebrew level.

Please set up a phone / zoom interview with Prof. Friedman at Doron.Friedman@hunter.cuny.edu, for the purpose of

- Placement into your appropriate level (including if you do not know any Hebrew)

- Placement in a Heritage class (for students that were previously exposed to Hebrew)

and earning a language requirement exemption in one year (instead of two).

- Getting a language exemption if your Hebrew level permits it.

- Advisement regarding additional projects and courses.

- Pursuing a Minor / Major in Hebrew Language.
